Transportation safety training
The district is continuing to improve safety measures in and out of the classroom. APS school bus drivers, aides and APS School Safety Team members attended START (School Transportation Active Threat Response Training) to train bus drivers for emergency situations. Totalee Girls Mentoring Program. Girls ages 10-15 can participate in a mentoring program with Coach Retha to develop key character traits including love, self-awareness, respect and more. The program lasts 10 weeks beginning March 2. Classes are from 6-8 p.m. at 380 W. Crosier St. Learn more.
