Pop-up food pantry distributions - Akron area residents who are in need of groceries can access one of the upcoming pop-up food pantries below:
March 23 - Stark State College Akron from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
March 25 - ASW Global from 10 a.m. - noon
March 27 - NEOMED from noon - 2 p.m.
Appointments available for School-Based Health Centers - Students can schedule an after school visit with a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) at King CLC or Voris CLC starting next week if they need a sports physical, well-visit or vaccines. Call 330.543.7242 to schedule an appointment for one of the days below:
King CLC - Mondays March 27 - May 22 from 3-5:30 p.m.
Voris CLC - Thursdays March 22 - May 25 from 3-5:30 p.m.
After school and weekend health care is also available to anyone under age 18 in Ohio through Akron Children’s Quick Care Online. Open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
